NORTHEASTERNSAILING​

March 9-10, 2013

The Huskies opened their Spring season with warm and sunny conditions at the Wood Trophy, hosted by Connecticut College. Jesse Thomas and Linnea Goldstein sailed in A division, and Elise Gehling and Kristen Kuzil sailed in B. The team took advantage of the consistent breeze and competitive fleet to shake off some of our winter rust.

Thomas and Goldstein took 14th in A fleet, and Gehling and Kuzil secured 8th place in B, bringing the team to an 11th place finish over all. Highlights of the weekend included a pair of bullets by Gehling and Kuzil on Sunday. 

 

Gehling and Kuzil working upwind
